Writing about myself has always been difficult, that being said, it’s important you know a little bit about me because when working with a realtor we can end up spending a lot of time together! My goal, helping you build wealth through real estate! This may represent purchasing your first home, selling your existing property and upsizing or helping you to make the decision to refinance your primary home to pull money out for a rental property or Airbnb investment.

Why did I become a real estate professional? 

I have been in love with homes and architecture for as long as I can remember. The ability to share in someone’s home purchase or first investment property and guide them through the process is why I became a realtor, it’s truly the most rewarding experience!

How long have I been selling real estate?

If you include all the years I personally bought, flipped and owned rentals (both residential short-term, long term and commercial), then you could say I’ve been selling real estate my whole life. But it became a passion since 2005 after I read my first real estate investment book; “Rich Dad Poor Dad.”

Where do I live? 

Right now, I live in Hamilton, but I’ve lived all over South Western Ontario; including Waterloo, Kitchener and Lake Erie. I’ve been inside homes and studied every local market in the Hamilton, Niagara and Kitchener, Waterloo area. 

What’s my favourite restaurant? 

My favourite restaurant is my home. I love to cook and prepare meals, so it’s always my first choice. But second to that is any farm-to-table restaurant in the Hamilton and Niagara region. 

Something people are surprised to learn about me? 

Before my professional real estate career, I started and ran a home décor manufacturing company for 16 years in Waterloo, designing and selling Architectural and Inspirational Wall Decor across Canada and the USA. While doing that I built my real estate portfolio in Kitchener-Waterloo to build passive income, investing in flips, long-term rentals, short-term Airbnb rentals and commercial properties. I love boating and I ride a Ducati motorcycle.

Passions

It all begins with an idea. For me that started with architecture and water. For as long as I could remember I drew pictures of homes and was obsessed with architectural design. I thought for sure I would end up designing homes but no, life had another plan in store for me. During my journey of discovery I have always been passionate about the outdoors in whatever shape or form, but predominately it’s all about the water. Hamilton, Burlington and Niagara is the most incredible area to live in as we are surrounded by bountiful nature, countless trails and kilometres of beautiful waterfront.

What do I do when I’m not selling houses?

Water first, anything and everything water related. Speed second, anything Motorcycles or racing. I love to ride and I’m passionate about Italian Motorbikes especially Ducati! Cycling, hiking, cooking and vino, so blessed to live in this region as we are surrounded by amazing farm to table restaurants, craft breweries, wineries and fresh produce!

Next to this is; travel, travel and more travel! Our minds expand when we experience different cultures and step outside our comfort zone. I love to explore art and history, I’m fascinated with architectural details and obsessed with living like a local! My biggest compliment is when I am exploring a new country and someone asks me for directions.

I’ve trained (weightlifting) since I’ve been 15 and that has always maintained a stronghold in my life; mind, body & spirit. We truly are what we consume; physically and mentally, I have always believed strongly in this. So surround yourself with amazing people, fill your body with healthy, fresh food, drink lots of water and activate your mind with positivity and motivation.

Above all else, first and foremost, is my family & close friends, nothing fills my heart more than spending time with the people I love most in this world and having the opportunity to spend it in a community that has so much to offer.
